Dangers Of Smoking

There were never any publicized dangers of smoking prior to current times, and many adults who are alive today can attest to this fact from personal experience. Cigars, tobacco cigarettes, and pipes were a part of a social practice that was allowed and encouraged in all areas of our society. Friends would sit and communicate while puffing away on tobacco choices that did not unfortunately have any deathly dangers of smoking stickers on the sides of the wrappers.

Back in the good ol’ days, a childhood rite-of-passing often took place out behind the barn as youthful fingers learned origami techniques and neatness skills that would probably serve them a lifetime. The art of rolling tobacco cigarettes – (one handed, with eyes closed) – was every child’s pastime at some point, and the worst dangers of smoking warning to watch out for paper cuts was never included on the rolling paper packages.

Parents would often hand their children rolling paper packages to play with as a cheap form of entertainment. The dangers of smoking lectures only included warnings about needing to use your own allowance to buy tobacco, and instructions to never burn the barn to the ground. Just like that fictional Huck Finn, who was created out of Mark Twain’s left side of the brain; whimsical summers were spent without any dangers of smoking warnings to worry about.

Unfortunately, the lack of information on the dangers of smoking in the past has led to many health problems for people today.
